    New Horizon has resources are available to help any members of your community who may be experiencing distress or anxiety due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They can listen to clients and provide emotional support as well as connect clients to community resources if they need additional help. Clients can call New Horizon's hotline at 855-818-4673 from 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri or the NY Project Hope hotline at 844-863-9314 from 8am - 10pm any day of the week. The services provided are free and confidential.

  • VISIONS / Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired

    VISIONS is a nonprofit rehabilitation and social service organization. VISIONS purpose is to develop and implement individualized programs to assist people who are blind and visually impaired of all ages to lead independent and active lives, and to educate the public to understand the capabilities and needs of people who are blind and visually impaired. All of the services VISIONS offers are free of charge.

    VISIONS offers services in 16 languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese dialects, Russian, and American Sign Language (ASL) VISIONS serves participants in all boroughs of NYC, Long Island, Westchester County, and the Lower Hudson Valley . VISIONS programs are tailored to the specific needs of our participants, no matter how complex those needs are.
