Queens Defenders
Queens Defenders (Formerly Queens Law Associates) represents people who have been charged with a crime in Queens and cannot afford to hire a lawyer. Queens Defenders lawyers are usually assigned to clients by the court following their arrests. We also provide services to people who visit one of our Outreach Centers.

Day One Provides Prevention Education, Advocacy, Youth Empowerment, Legal and Counseling Services to youth and youth survivors of Domestic Violence up to the age of 24.
Day One's RAPP and ERAPP Programs serve Queens Middle and High Schools by providing in-house workshops, programs, and counseling related to preventing dating abuse and violence among youth.

Turning Point for Women and Families
Turning Point for Women and Families is the first community based, non-profit organization to directly address domestic violence in NYC's Muslim community.
We provide a diverse range of support services to survivors including crisis intervention, individual counseling, support groups, case management, advocacy, and more. Alongside our domestic violence program, we provide support to Muslim youth and to senior women in the community to help them build confidence, leadership skills, and feel empowered.

New Horizon has resources are available to help any members of your community who may be experiencing distress or anxiety due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They can listen to clients and provide emotional support as well as connect clients to community resources if they need additional help. VISIONS / Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired
VISIONS is a nonprofit rehabilitation and social service organization. VISIONS purpose is to develop and implement individualized programs to assist people who are blind and visually impaired of all ages to lead independent and active lives, and to educate the public to understand the capabilities and needs of people who are blind and visually impaired. All of the services VISIONS offers are free of charge.
VISIONS offers services in 16 languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese dialects, Russian, and American Sign Language (ASL) VISIONS serves participants in all boroughs of NYC, Long Island, Westchester County, and the Lower Hudson Valley . VISIONS programs are tailored to the specific needs of our participants, no matter how complex those needs are.
